Croissant

Customize your page

Edit your Croissant page: display name, bio, avatar, cover image, accent colour, thank-you message, croissant price and whether the page is published.

Updated

Your page is where supporters land, so it should feel like you. Everything is edited from the page editor in your dashboard.

What you can change

Display name

The name shown at the top of your page. It can be your real name, your creator name or the name of your project. It does not have to match your link.

Bio

A few lines about who you are and what tips help with. Supporters are more likely to tip when they know what it goes towards, such as more videos, open source work or simply more coffee and croissants while you work.

Avatar and cover image

Your avatar is the small round image next to your name. The cover image sits across the top of the page. A clear photo of you or your logo works well for the avatar. For the cover, pick something wide that still looks good when cropped.

Accent colour

The accent colour is used for buttons and highlights on your page. Pick one that matches your brand, and check that the buttons stay easy to read.

Thank-you message

This message is shown to supporters right after they pay. Use it to say thanks in your own words, or point them somewhere useful, like your newsletter.

Price per croissant

Set how much one croissant costs, anywhere from 1 to 100 in your page's currency. Supporters can buy 1, 3, 5 or a custom number of croissants, so the price is the building block of every tip. A small price keeps tipping casual. The currency itself is fixed when you claim your link.

Published

The published toggle controls whether your page is visible. Turn it off while you are still setting things up or if you want to take a break. Turn it on when you are ready for people to visit.

Before you share

  • Make sure your page is published.
  • Check that you have finished connecting Stripe. Your page cannot take payments until onboarding is complete.
  • Open your page in a private browser window to see it the way a supporter will.

When everything looks right, head to Share your page.
