Claim your link
Choose your croissant.beffa.xyz address and page currency. Learn which characters are allowed, why some names are reserved and what can't change later.
Updated
Your link is the address of your Croissant page, for example croissant.beffa.xyz/yourname. It is what you share with your audience, so it is worth a moment of thought.
How to claim it
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Type the name you want. Croissant tells you right away whether it is available.
- Choose your currency.
- Confirm. Your link is now yours, and you land in the dashboard to set up your page.
Rules for names
Links can contain:
- lowercase letters (a to z)
- numbers (0 to 9)
- hyphens (-)
Spaces, capital letters, underscores, dots and other symbols are not allowed. If you type capitals, use the lowercase version instead.
Some words are reserved because the site uses them for its own pages or because they could be confusing, for example words like login or dashboard. If a name is reserved or already taken, try a variation, such as adding your field or a hyphen.
Tips for a good link
- Match your other handles. If people know you as the same name elsewhere, use it here too.
- Keep it short. Short links are easier to say out loud and type on a phone.
- Avoid numbers that look like letters. A 0 and an o are easy to mix up.
Choosing your currency
You pick your page's currency when you claim your link. USD is the default. Choose the currency that suits your supporters and your bank account.
The currency cannot be changed after you claim your link, so check it before you confirm. Your link itself can be changed later in the page editor, but the old link stops working when you do. Every tip on your page is charged in that currency. If your supporters pay with a card in another currency, their bank or card provider handles the conversion.
After you claim it
Your page exists, but it still needs a few things before it can take tips:
- Add your details in Customize your page.
- Connect Stripe so you can receive payments.
- Then share your page.
Questions
›Can I change my currency later?
No. The currency is set when you claim your link and stays the same afterwards, so choose it carefully.
›Why can't I use capital letters or underscores?
Links only allow lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. This keeps addresses easy to type and avoids two links that look almost the same.
